What Makes A Baseball? -4 main layers, core at the center -Around the core=layer of cork -Yarn is wrapped around the core -Over the yarn is leather that is stitched which makes the cover of the ball

2 Americas Past Time Most widely played sports in the 19th and 20th century It was literally how America pasted time. People everywhere watched, played and listened to baseball It led to black and whites being united to play baseball (Jackie Robinson)

3 Baseballs and Others The baseball led to many other inventions like the baseball bat, the glove, the base…ect. Led to stadiums being built for thousands of people to watch

4 U.S. and Baseball The history of baseball coincides with the history of the United States. Like this country and its rules, baseball has had to modify itself. Like this country, baseball has hit some low points to where many thought it would die. However, baseball has never died and baseball will endure, if not forever on the playing fields of schools, public recreation areas and professional athletic fields, then in the hearts and minds of the majority of Americans.
