All matter is made of small particles called atoms.
Solid- close together
Liquid- far apart
Gas- farther apart
The particles are always moving.
Solid- vibrate
Liquids- slide
Gas-bump

A change in matter from one state to another. It can also be a change in size or shape.
It is the same matter before and after the change.

As the temperature rises the particles in matter move faster.
As the temperature lowers the particles in matter move slower.
