2 BIG SCOTTISH BREAKFAST
Big Breakfast – Friday 5th October at 8.45a.m. in Room 1 Donations please. Breakfast Theme Dress/Dress as you please – Come in your PJs/Dressing Gown/onesies.

3 After the October holidays, rugby coach Chris Lee (Huntly RFC) will deliver sessions at Keith Grammar Astro Turf for P7 – S3 pupils. Classes are suitable for all abilities, girls and boys.  Participants are not required to have any previous experience just enthusiasm! The sessions will take place outside so please make sure you wear appropriate clothing – football boots are required. Cost: free Who? S1-S3 Girls and boys When? Weds: 31 Oct – 21 Nov Where? 4 Rugby S1-S2 boys and U15 girls with some experience of rugby are invited to attend the next Rugby Development Festival on Tuesday 2nd October.  Rugby Development Officer Chris Lee is the contact for any queries: Time: 4pm kick off (4pm – 6pm) - Date: Tuesday 2nd October - Place: Elgin Academy - Cost: free The Under 16s Schools Plate Round 1 provides the opportunity for all under 15 and under 16 rugby players to take part in a local competitive event.  Sign up by Tuesday 2nd October.  Please contact Rugby Development Officer Chris Lee to sign up and for any queries: / Date: Thursday 4th October - Time: 5.30pm kick off, meet at 4.30pm - Place: Elgin Academy - Cost: free

5 All ingredients and equipment will be provided for each of the heats and bakers will be given two recipes to follow. The top three bakers from each heat will go through to the final, where they will be asked to design and bake a showstopper. They will be required to provide all their own ingredients and specialist equipment for the final. The winners will be judged by our specialist panel and will win a variety of amazing prizes, including the prestigious ‘STAR BAKER’ apron.

from 1.20 onwards in room 22  Come & play pool, table football or air hockey Or just have a chat & a comfy seat

7   Come down to the Design and Technology department to sign up to play Mario kart competitively for the chance to win a £15 amazon gift card. Just £2 to enter all funding goes to the Young engineers everyone gets to play at least 8 races. Loser gets a personalised spoon.

8 MUSIC DEPARTMENT Choir – Monday 1.30pm
Open to all pupils and staff who enjoy singing Funk Band -  Tuesday 1.30pm Any pupils wishing to sing with the Funk Band please see Mrs Birch Pipe Band – Every Second Tuesday of the month 3.40–4.30 Any Pupils wishing to join please see Mrs Birch Recorder Ensemble – Wednesday 1.30pm Open to all pupils

12 KGS Darts Club When: Monday Lunchtime, 1330-1400
Where: Room 11 (Mr Geddes - Maths) Do I need my own darts? – No! Can I use my own darts? – Yes, but you must bring them to Mr Geddes first thing, then collect at the end of the day.

14 Lunchtime Homework Club
Having trouble logging onto “Show my Homework” at home? Forgot to do your homework? Come along to Room 12 at lunchtimes on Monday or Thursday where you can use the computers to complete your homework.

15 Art & Design Department
Art & Design: The department will be open every Wednesday lunchtime 1.30pm – 2.00pm for all year groups. Come along to Room 20 to spend extra time on your classwork, own artwork or simply doodle! You may bring your lunch.

17 Canteen Pre-Order Friday
You can pre-order baguettes, snacks at break time on Friday so you can pick up before you leave the school or go on the bus! Please see Catering Staff for details.
