1. Downs Junior Year 5 and 6 Rugby Club
Rugby Club after School on Thursdays now on the Downs ATP!
All Year 5+6 Girls and Boys Welcome
We meet in the yellow room immediately after school at 3:15pm sharp, we
spend a few minutes talking about what we have learnt and are doing next.
Then we train on the ATP until 4:45pm. Pick up is from the main school
entrance.
Our current focus is on non contact Tag Rugby defence, attack, individual and
Unit skills. We are preparing for the World Cup interschool festival this term
and the main fixtures and tournaments in the spring. All of the sessions are
suitable for both complete beginners and experienced club players.
Downs has a proud tradition of introducing to Rugby the best girl rugby players
in Brighton. If you play Netball or Football for the school or just want to give
Rugby a go please do come along on Thursday.
Any special arrangements for pick up/permission to walk home, please detail on
back of the slip below.
Please ensure you have: A Drink and a Light Healthy Snack, Appropriate sports
clothes – many thin layers are best (consider the weather) and a Light Weight
Waterproof Jacket or top (we train in all weathers)
