5. October 29, 2015 Agenda: Bellwork, “Explorers Wanted” Poster
Bellwork: Using the project paper, brainstorm 5 characteristics a person would need to be an explorer.
Directions: Working in groups of two, AND ONLY TWO, you are going to begin on your “Explorers Wanted” poster and classified ad today. First, brainstorm on your project paper the characteristic needed to be an explorer.

6. October 30, 2015 Agenda: CNN Student News, Exploration Poster
Bellwork: CNN Student News-Write, in complete sentences, write about at least three topics covered in the news today. A short discussion will follow.
Directions: Get back into your groups from yesterday. Finish your “Explorers Wanted” posters. Staple your rubrics to the back, and turn them in by the end of class. I will stamp groups who have finished their work on time.
