2 ENTRY TASK Compare your answers to the answer key for the position and motion answer keys—what questions do you have? Write them on your white board.

3 VOCABULARY: USE TODAY’S NOTES TO DEFINE THE FOLLOWING: 1.precession 2.Rotation 3.revolution

5 WHAT TO TURN IN ON TEST DAY……. On the day of the test your notebook items are due If you have your stamp sheet and all items are stamped you will turn in you stamp sheet with your Lifelines stapled to it. If you have items that are not stamped but you completed them after the due date, attach those items and you will receive partial (1/2) credit for them. These are due at the beginning of the period before you take the test. Make sure your lifelines are completely filled out. Make sure you have completed defined all definitions and have done the learning log each day.

6 HOW TO STUDY FOR THE TEST….. Study the review sheet Go over all notes Play the jeopardy game on your own, once with notes and once without (minimum) 80-90% of the test is on the jeopardy game Practice any short answer items

7 TAKING THE TEST Take your time, make sure you answer all the questions Review your answers Answer short answer /essay questions in complete sentences and thoughts. Make sure your answer “stands alone” (IQIIA)

8 STELLARIUM We will be using a star program throughout the year called Stellarium You will be given instruction on downloading Stellarium on your computer at home and our first Stellarium Lab. Please if you have any difficulties downloading Stellarium at home let me know and I will make sure you can use my computer. Your first lab is due September 17
