Directions: Students will be working in the library to complete their Industrial Revolution research report.

Agenda: ACT
Directions: After students report to 1st hour, the remainder of the day will be dedicated to ACT testing.

4. March 2, 2016
Agenda: Industrial Revolution Invention Presentations, begin Nationalism.
Directions: Staple a rubric to the front of your already printed paper. Put in the box if I do not have it already. Write your name on the board if you would like to present.
Reminders: The deadline to take or turn in the IR Test is FRIDAY!!! You also should turn in your unit packet when you do this. The rubric is on the back table.
Tomorrow: Completed What is a Nation? Assignment.

5. March 3, 2016 (btw..today’s bellwork and closure will be turned in with your assignment for points)
Agenda: Bellwork, Introduction to Nationalism, Closure
Write and answer the following questions:
1-What is nationalism?
2-Thinking back to the French Revolution, how did it impact the development of nationalism?
3-What was one the main political goals of the Congress of Vienna? How do you think this impacted the development of nationalism?
Reminders: Take Industrial Revolution test or turn in take home test. Turn in packet with test. Test and packet due tomorrow.
Closure:
1-What is a nation-state? Why is this a prevalent form of government?
2-How are the ideas discussed today going to impact the world in the future?

6. March 4, 2016 Agenda: CNN Student News, Nationalism notes
Bellwork: While watching CNN Student News, write about at least three topics covered on the news today. Be sure to write complete sentences.
Reminder: Industrial Revolution test and packet due today.
