The first image depicts life before European settlements
The second image depicts the Trail of Tears (forced movement of Native Americans)
The third image depicts life after European settlements when Native Americans were force to attend boarding schools and dress as Europeans
Use these images to show the before, during and after effects of European settlements on Native American culture.
Each image includes several guiding questions to use for discussion. Use these questions or create different questions as needed to meet the needs in your classroom.
