IT Department expanded responsibilities adding Web and AT in fall 2013 Goals of IT Department are to: Deliver high-quality of service Collaborate with all programs—understand what programs do and what they need Implement and maintain technology in collaboration with all programs Establish consistency and standards as appropriate (one size does not always fit all) Innovate and communicate (today) 12/31/2018

Helpdesk supports users and office and classroom technology Operations Team manages network, phones, servers, storage, etc. Web Team develops and supports websites/social media Applications Team develops and supports solutions (including training) Assistive Technology works with Ed Program Liaisons 12/31/2018

iPads--200 Cell phones--110 Wireless Access Points--140 Perkins websites--22 Active Projects--40 Helpdesk Tickets completed per day--20 12/31/2018

New HR/Payroll/Time and Attendance system Online time reporting, employee self service, workflow, reduce paper Perkins.org Redesign Updated design, freshen content IT and AT Asset Inventory Understand what’s in use, improve processes for refresh IT Security improvements Protect and secure data, information; increase staff awareness Disaster Recovery Plan Prepare for the worst, be ready to keep things running 12/31/2018

Ask Howe has been live since February Ask Howe was developed in response to a staff survey regarding improved communictions Available from anywhere on any device Response time is not like a public website s with links save on storage, provide people with a place where content is easy to find later Feedback is welcome and used 12/31/2018
