MCC will nurture a culture that values and respects all members of the college community and encourages collaboration within an environment of shared governance.

Establish committees at each campus to:
Address issues hindering MCC from being the best place to work or attend;
Discuss the issues identified and develop a solution;
Identify which individuals will be responsible for the solution;
Develop a timeline for the solution;
Share the issue and solution during district committee meetings to the benefit of all.
Establish Assessment of Culture and Environment;
Promote greater transparency, understanding, and accountability in our systems, function, and decision-making processes;
Foster collaboration, mutual support, and professionalism at all levels to ensure a collegial work;
Develop collaboration between shared governance groups to improve communication;
Recognize faculty, staff, and student excellence, and celebrate the achievements.
