2 WESTELL 2014 Important Dates
December 16 MI s to ALL Title III directors Jan 6 (Monday) – 17 (Friday) Online Material Ordering March 10 (Monday) – 12 (Wednesday) WESTELL materials arrive in all WV districts March 17 (Monday) Beginning of test administration April 25 (Friday) End of test administration By May 2 (Friday) All WESTELL Materials must be picked up by FedEx and returned to MI May 19 (Monday) – May 23 (Friday) Window to review and correct student demographic information June 30 (Monday) Assessment results delivered to district offices August 15 (Friday) Deadline to notify the ELDA helpline of any reporting errors

3 Instructions for Online material Orders
12/16/2013 – You will receive from Measurement Inc. (MI)regarding upcoming ordering window 1/6/2014 – You will receive from MI with User Name and Password. If you do not receive the on 12/16/2013, please notify Mami Itamochi and ELDA helpline

4 Step 1 Logging In Open your internet browser, enter the website address (this will be sent on 1/6/2014 with your login information) , and click Go or Press Enter Enter User Name and Password, and Click Log In or Press Enter

6 Step 2: Pre-ID Roster

8 Pre ID Roster Review You do NOT order test materials if;
The quantity of the student test materials needed is equal to the number of students on the Pre-ID roster. The default number of teacher materials is acceptable. No Braille or large print test materials are needed. Locate the school or particular student on the roster. If you need to add students, fill out the student information on the template and it to the ELDA helpline and copy Mami Itamochi

10 Step 3: Ordering Test materials
You must order test materials if: The quantity of test materials needed is greater than the number of students on the Pre-ID roster. The default number of teacher materials is not acceptable. Grade 3-12: One set of teacher materials is provided for every 6 students. K- 2: One set of teacher materials is provided for every 3 students. If you need fewer teacher materials, contact Braille or large print test materials are needed.

12 All the materials will be sent to the central office!
Note the pre-selected media format for the audio prompts. If incorrect, change the format. All the materials will be sent to the central office! Make sure this information is correct!!

13 To confirm that the number of students on your Pre-ID roster is correct and you do not need additional materials, check this box. To confirm that there are no EL/LEP students currently enrolled in your district and you do not need any WESTELL materials, check this box.

14 To place an additional order for the school, click this icon.
If the Pre-ID upload contained any student records for that school, there will be a check mark next to “Pre-ID”. If an additional order has been placed for the school, there will be a check mark next to “Additional Material”. To place an additional order for the school, click this icon.

17 Enter the desired number of materials. Then click “Add Material”.

18 You must hit “Submit Order”
You must repeat this process for each grade cluster.

19 You must repeat this process for each school.

20 Ordering Teacher Materials
If your order is based on the Pre-ID roster, you will receive the default number of Teacher Materials. If you have other requirements, contact If you are placing an additional order, you will NOT receive any additional teacher materials unless you order them. Note: For each grade cluster at each school for which you are receiving student materials, you will receive AT LEAST one set of teacher materials.

21 Step 4: Reviewing Existing Order Details

22 Click on the icon in this column to review or place an order for each school
If there is no check mark next to “Pre-ID”, there is no Pre-ID roster for this school. If there is no check mark next to “Additional Material”, no additional orders have been placed.

24 Click the icon in this column to access the school’s order(s).

26 Step 6: Overage Material
Overage materials are not included. Counties with high populations of EL/LEP students will have “Central Office” listed as one of their schools. (These counties were predetermined by WVDE.) These counties should order overage materials under “Central Office”. – Please do not order too many!! When districts distribute these overage materials, they should either: Give the school one blank “Central Office” header per grade cluster and instruct the school to bubble in the school name and number on the header and place the header over the answer documents when they are returned to MI OR Instruct the school to place the completed answer document under one of the pre-printed headers that was shipped to the school Counties that do not have a “Central Office” ordering option should contact MI to order additional materials.
