Chapnet program( Japan , Indonesia and India- Gujarat) in collaboration with Technical Committee on Space, Aeronautical and Navigational electronics organized a special session in workshop on subsurface electromagnetic measurements, special session on 4-5 Oct 2017 pdf Presentations by Dr Shiv Mohan on radar modeling of subsurface ice, Dr Y. Yamaguchi on IEEE Chapnet and Dr Djoko Nugroho on peat thickness. In order to enhance the scope of IEEE GRSS presence in India, Dr Shiv Mohan presented a thought proactive talk on IEEE GRSS activities and its importance in India, IEEE Workshop Remote sensing and GIS in the service of India’s development, 8-9 June 2017 at IIT- Bombay.
