4 Attracting Investment : Infrastructure
“One Scotland” approach Scottish Cities Alliance Investment Pitch Book £7.5bn One of the major objective’s of the Alliance is to help attract the international investment into infrastructure in cities that enable them to remain globally competitive. By working collaboratively, Scotland’s seven cities through the Alliance, have identified a range of large scale high value propositions in residential property, hotel, leisure and office development which are of interest to international investors. In order to provide an international platform for these developments, the Scottish Cities Alliance has created a new investment Pitch Book, which was launched at MIPIM Cannes last month. This showcases over £7.5 billion of these exciting investor ready opportunities across Scotland’s cities, and there is ongoing dialogue with a number of investors on a number of these opportunities and this can be found on our website. Looking to the future, the Alliance is looking at new propositions around private rented sector housing and assisted living to add to the cities offering – both of which have significant market interest as well as opportunities for integrating low carbon and smart activity to create added value for investors and Scottish businesses.
