Why?

“Mind Dump”
Have students write out everything they know on the content being tested on before they begin the test.
Short answer test on paper
Have students answer the questions using their mind dump and allowing them to write everything they know.
Multiple Choice test on computer
Have students answer the exact test questions as their short answer questions.
This allows students to select the best choice based on what they already know.
