1 Bell Ringer Marty goes to Goody’s and buys two shirts for $22.00 each, a hat for $9.99, and 3 pairs of jeans for $39.99 each. Figuring 6% sales tax, what will be the total of his sale?

2 Bell Ringer Answer $22.00 + $22.00 + $9.99 + $39.99 + $39.99 + $39.99 = $173.96 $173.96 * 6% sales tax (0.06) = $10.4376  $10.44 $173.96 + $10.44 = $184.40
