You are a group working for Rock Salt plc.
Your job is to turn newly mined rock salt into pure salt, ready to be sold.

3. Instructions
Take 2 spatulas of rock salt and put into a pestle and mortar. Grind the salt into a fine powder.
Put an empty beaker on the balance and put the powder into the beaker and weigh. Add 50 ml of water. Stir well with a spatula.
Filter mixture into a clean beaker
Weigh an empty evaporating basin. Put the filtrate into the evaporating basin and heat over a blue bunsen flame. You will be left with pure salt. Weigh the evaporating basin again when it is cool.
