The LEVEL of RESPONSIBILITY for; The care staff team on duty. This document concentrates on team leading our care staff. The day-to-day healthcare needs of our Residents. The home.

3 The ten main attributes or skills of an effective team leader - One
Communicator Effective team leaders communicate clearly. Organizer Effective team leaders possess good organizational skills. Confidence An effective team leader is confident in their abilities, as well as confident in the abilities of each team member (this does not mean that every team member has the same ability). Respectful A quality team leader is respectful of their team members. Fairness A quality team leader treats team members fairly.

Integrity An effective team leader is honest and open with their team members. Influencer Influential leaders help inspire the commitment of team members. Delegator Effective team leaders know how to share leadership through delegation. Facilitator Effective team leaders are good facilitators. (A facilitator is someone who creates an environment where team members are able to perform at their best). Negotiator Team leaders utilize negotiation skills to achieve results and reach an understanding in the event of a workplace conflict.
