4 Behavioral Health Benefit
Contact ValueOptions to obtain preauthorization and referral (required). Services may be provided in various settings or levels of care depending upon the treatment that is needed. Call:

5 Behavioral Health Benefit
Various levels of care Care managers with ValueOptions approve the appropriate levels of care based on diagnosis and ValueOption’s medical necessity criteria. Includes acute care (inpatient at a psychiatric hospital or a detox unit); partial day services (combines intensive treatment in a medically supervised setting with the opportunity to return to a residential setting at night); and outpatient behavioral health services. Outpatient services are the most frequently prescribed level of care and are based in an office setting.

No charge for up to four counseling sessions per incident Need for additional counseling may result in referral to Behavioral Health services Designated co-pays apply to Behavioral Health services
