10 Self-Awareness Self-Awareness describes one’s ability to recognize their emotions. The higher your number is in component of Emotional Intelligence indicates a strong ability to correctly identify emotional “triggers,” self-confidence, self-worth, and mindfulness. To enhance your Self-Awareness, take the time connect your feeling with your thoughts. Practice focusing on how you feel the moment and identifying why you feel the way you do.

11 Self-Management Self-Management describes one’s ability to effectively handle their emotions. The higher your number is in this component indicates how well you stay in control when experiencing your emotions, holding yourself accountability, taking responsibility, motivation, and adaptability. To enhance your Self-Management, recognize when your mood is shifting. Take a step back from the situation and practice calming yourself down.

12 Social-Awareness Social-Awareness describes one’s ability to properly identify others’ emotions. Your score in this component indicates your ability to express empathy, sympathy, organizational awareness, and meeting others’ needs. To enhance your skills here, take time to recognize the feelings of others and actively seek to understand their perspective.

13 Relationship-Management
Relationship-Management describes one’s ability to address the emotions of others in combination with those of oneself. Your score in this component indicates your ability to influence others, work on a team, manage conflict, build relationships, develop others, and inspire change. To enhance your skills here, spend time with people; build a friendly relationship; learn about things that interest them; and actively listen to the message and the meaning.
