2 Good evening, Let us begin as we do each day with a prayer. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Dear Lord, thank you for this day and for the time that you have given us to gather as a school family. We pray that you would bless each and every person here tonight in a special way. Allow our hearts to be filled with gratitude as we prepare for a wonderful year with our fifth grade students. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

3 Who is Ms. Bolotte? I am a graduate of Louisiana State University ( LSU) I have taught 5th grade as well as 1st grade This is my 6th year of teaching I have a strong family bond to SLS

5 Subjects Math Science New science series has arrived please be patient
All class work will be done in the RED notebook Each day and each goal will be labeled All homework will be completed in the workbook unless book work is assigned Jing videos will be posted through Ed-line for additional homework help Problems of the Week New science series has arrived please be patient The students will have homework assigned via electronic workbook We will have labs and lab reports all completed in composition note books Notes will be given and recorded by the students in their YELLOW notebook

Each day a new student will read our prayers We have daily reflections Projects We will be rejoicing in the Lord each and every day Service Hours We will have 5 different activities each week for spelling Tests are on Fridays Spelling lists will be ed on Sunday evenings All spelling activities WILL BE graded Students can complete all homework on Monday night if they choose
