2 Present continuous OR to be going to
He’s watching tv this evening OR He is going to watch tv this evening. He has planned to do it. He decided to it. It is a planned action.

3 What are you doing this summer?
Or What are you going to do this summer ?

4 EX. I’m going to watch tv tonight .
Future meaning When there is NO ARRANGEMENT TO BE GOING TO IS PREFERRED. EX. I’m going to watch tv tonight .

5 This is an intention but she is not sure because
To be going to Alexandra is going to save money because she wants to go to Cornwall this summer. This is an intention but she is not sure because she hasn’t got the money yet.

6 To be going to This verb form also expresses something which is going to happen and there is evidence because you can see it! It’s going to rain

9 Present continuous with Future meaning
When there is AN ARRANGEMENT the PRESENT CONTINUOUS IS PREFERRED. EX. I’m watching tv tonight with my friends tonight.

11 Present continuous with Future meaning
The present continuous is used a lot to talk about near, immediate future. A: What are you doing at the weekend? B: I’m going surfing.
