First Law for a device is not the same as a cycle. The Device remains unchanged while changing the state of the substance going through it.
In a Boiler/Condenser the Rate of Heat Added/Removed increases/decreases the Energy content of the substance flowing at the same rate. In Turbine/Pump the power output/input is equal to the rate of loss/gain in energy content.
