11 Professional Development
We are committed to lifelong learning and growth, seeing it as both an investment in you and an investment in our ability to better serve our clients Deloitte’s Training Requirements Milestone Trainings Analyst Fundamentals Training Simulation New Hire Transition Training Take plat at Deloitte University (see appendix slide) Local and Online Learning Skill-based trainings in presentation development, business case analysis, and interviewing Interactive workshops on Tableau, Excel modeling, and other technology tools Topical trainings in industries and service lines of interest Another one of Deloitte’s focus areas is to provide training and development opportunities to provide New Hires a strong foundation for their client work. Each year, BA’s complete 10 learning hours through National Program or online trainings to continue building out their core consulting skills. National Learning Programs includes 2 weeks of training once new hires join the firm to provide basic skills and a case simulation. These trainings are supplemented by local and online classes and workshops that can go into courses like “Applied Strategic Financial Analysis.” Additional courses include topical trainings to help New Hire’s “get smart” on topics before onboarding to project teams Training doesn’t end after the first few weeks of joining the firm. S&O New Hire’s have another few days of training half way into their first year where they complete interactive workshops in Tableau as well as Advanced Excel Modeling courses. Deloitte makes sure that each New Hire is well-versed in technology, digital, and analytics, as they are at the heart of every organization’s strategy going forward. Transform University is a national online training program for New Hires to learn about digital trends, such as: Digital supply networks: how exponential technology is giving way to new supply chain models centered on a digital-core Enterprise digital strategy: how clients can use digital transformation to redefine the drivers of their competitive advantage to win customers Finance in a digital world: how CFOs can leverage data and digital tools to position their organization Robotics & Cognitive Automation: how technological advancements have allowed for the use of computer-coded software to automate performance of rule-based repetitive tasks Training on the Digital Trends Online training curriculum launched in 2017 to ensure all practitioners are “tech fluent” and digitally-minded Topics include Digital Supply Networks, Robotics & Cognitive Automation, and Enterprise Digital Strategy

12 Flexibility and Predictability
Deloitte supports work-life fit with a variety of initiatives to provide balance to colleagues outside of client work and firm initiatives Opportunity to alt-travel to fun cities on weekends instead of returning home – go explore the world! Flexible Travel Schedules: BA’s can work with projects to implement a flexible travel schedule – make it home earlier! Real Time Off: Teams work together to make sure that when colleagues take vacation, they are offline and unplugged Deloitte supports work life fit with a variety of initiatives to provide balance to practitioners outside of client work and firm initiatives This includes opportunities to alt-travel (travel on weekends using your flight money) and opportunities to work with teams to find the right kind of flexibility and predictability that works for you. Deloitte has 12 holidays each year in addition to each employee’s vacation days These are just some examples of work-life fit and Deloitte champions many other forms to allow colleagues to excel at both client service and personal interests!
