2. National ICT co-ordinating structure
: Change of Law on Central Administration Sections (fundamental for administration): the new Section “Information Technology” was introduced
: Minister of Science (at the Office of the State Committee for Scientific Research) responsible for:
IT infrastructure, networks and systems in administration;
Establishing of IT standards in administration;
Supervising and supporting of IT project in public central and local administration;
Education and vocation on IT Technology (standards);
Development of Information Society in Poland;
International cooperation within the IT sector and participation in the EU programs.

to develop broad and valuable on-line content and services;

Standardization and interoperability of Public Administration systems (minimal standards / interoperability frameworks);
