1 Using RefWorks Adding Citation (Output) Styles to RefWorks

2 Where to start RefWorks call citation styles “Output Styles”
You can add output styles in three places: Bibliography Create Bibliography Edit Reference The following slides illustrate how to get to the above points

3 On the menu bar, click on “Output Style Manager” under Bibliography.

4 1. Select the format you are required to use (which is probably different from the example!)
2. Click on the green right-hand arrow to move the format to your list of Favorites

5 The second option is to click on the “Create Bibliography” button

6 Click on “Output Style Manager”

2. Click on the green right-hand arrow to move the format to your list of Favorites

8 You can also select an Output Style when you edit a reference

9 Under “View fields used by:”, Click on “Access Output Style Manager”

10 1. Select the format you are required to use (which is probably different from the example!)
2. Click on the green right-hand arrow to move the format to your list of Favorites

11 The Output Style is added to your list of Favorites
