3. Flexcel NX Plate Kits: Why they are needed ?
Today…
You order plates and TIL separately
They are packaged in boxes that have very different quantities of plates and sheets of TIL.
However, they are used together: 1 plate + 1 sheet of TIL

Introduction to FLEXCEL NX Plate Kits
Inventory tracking and ordering is difficult.
Think of the kit as a virtual product. Number of sheets of TIL per pack will be reduced to match numbers of sheets of plate per box. Avoid over-ordering on TIL
Number of sheets in some plate boxes will be increased. All plate items will now have a sheet count that is a multiple of five.
Save on packaging for select plate items
Ordering as a single item number will ensure that Plates and TIL arrive in the same delivery, simplifying the process of reconciling POs and goods received. Components are ordered together and delivered together.
Ordering matched quantities will simplify complex internal customer processes for tracking usage of plates and TIL. Knowing what and when to re-order becomes much simpler
Kodak will continue to review product configurations, product packaging and product delivery in order to provide the best user experience for our customers.

4. What? Introduction of Plate Kits
Plate Kits will simplify product ordering and inventory management for customers
Customers order a single cat number and receive equal quantities of Plates and TIL – delivered, but not packaged, together.
Plate Kits have been created for all Flexcel NX plate products (NXH and NXC), although and 5065 sizes will not be available until Q
The list price of TIL (when purchased as an individual item) is being increased, so customers need to move to buying Plate Kits to maintain their current pricing. They have 60 days to transition.
By end of September, Kodak will introduce this to all direct customers.

5. Goal of the Program
To implement FLEXCEL NX Plate Kits from Kodak to the end user.
We recommend that you to transition to ordering FLEXCEL NX Plate Kits from Kodak as soon as you can.
We recommend that you implement the sale of FLEXCEL NX Plate Kits as soon as it is practical and for a smooth transition and alignment with the FLEXCEL NX Plate Kit ordering in our Kodak/Dealer relationship. We think it would be good to complete this process no later than the end of 2017.

6. What are Flexcel NX Plate Kits?
“Virtual” kits that match the number of plates and sheets of TIL +

7. Here’s how Plate Kits work
You place an order for an NXH Plate Kit
This plate kit includes 20 NXH plates and 20 sheets of TIL
Kodak prepares the order for shipment
Pulls 2 boxes of NXH plates – total of 20 plates
Pulls a box of TIL – includes 20 sheets of TIL
The components of the kit are shipped together
You receive a single shipment – two boxes of plates and one box of TIL

Ultimate goal is for dealers to buy Plate Kits from Kodak.
We are introducing the Plate Kit program today.
We will work with you to develop plans that will help you execute the program and set pricing for Flexcel NX Plate Kits and standalone products.
Each dealer has received official prices for plate kits and standalone products.
Each dealer will receive support to help with implementation challenges related to the introduction of Flexcel NX Plate Kits.
How to enable kit pricing for your customers
Assist in managing the transition of inventory
Provide guidance on IT system changes
We are committed to maintaining your product spend and keeping the end customer “whole”.
As this program is introduced, we expect that the purchases will be consistent with your prior purchase history.
We will share with you all the customer facing materials that we’ve created as well as a training presentation we’ve shared with our sales team.

Kodak is 100% committed to introducing FLEXCEL NX Plate Kits while maintaining the same product spend for the production of FLEXCEL NX Plates for both you (our dealer) and for your end customer. Over the next six months we will be tracking your actual purchase to make sure this is the case.
The Plate Kits are a key element of providing you with better service and for enabling Kodak to introduce future products which will help you grow your own business and your customers’ business. As we launch Plate Kits we are also introducing a number of other changes that provide you and your customer with additional benefits. These include providing you with credit for the TIL used during routine maintenance, and improving the product return process for defective products (the PIR process). In both cases the credits associated with these activities will be for full boxes of TIL and/or plates.
