2. Playback Mode
Your camera should have a playback mode, for reviewing your images or videos.
Playback mode is just like auto mode, you use it by selecting the auto mode.
In Playback mode you can zoom in on images, PAN through images, and even delete them.
Be sure to LOCK the image if you don’t want it to accidently get deleted.

3. Scene Modes
Many cameras have additional Auto modes called SCENE MODES.
You usually access this mode using the same control that you use to select auto mode.
These scenes will help make better decisions for the subject in the photo and the setting of the photo.

4. Landscape Mode The opposite of Portrait Mode.
You want everything in the photo to be in focus, therefore the camera will ensure that objects both near and far are in fact in focus.

5. Close-up Mode Used for shooting small objects.
EX. Flowers, Pencils, ETC.
This setting sets up focusing modes and exposure settings.

6. Portrait Mode
Helps soften the background, therefore there is more focus on the subject you are taking a picture of.

7. Sand and Snow Mode
If the scene contains a lot of white, (SNOW) then this mode will ensure that the whites in the scene appear white.

8. Sports Mode
This mode is biased towards fast, motion stopping shutter speeds.
Sport’s mode will also engage a servo autofocus, which can track a moving subject to ensure that it’s always in focus.

9. Night Portrait Mode
Causes the camera to fire the flash but also use a slow shutter speed to expose elements properly that are outside the flash range.
