1 CODEPAINTER REV. Trainer Course
DESIGN PHASE FOR THE EXAMPLE APPLICATION

2 FRONTEND FRONTEND: This is the first screen you see when you run CODEPAINTER REVOLUTION. The FrontEnd gives you the possibility to access all CODEPAINTER Tools and allows to manage and keep under control the project you are developing. The Toolbar on the top gives you the possibility to activate all PAINTERS (CODEPAINTER’s Tools). The Treeview on the left hand side gives you an overview of the current project (organized by entities or by groups) and includes a tabstrip for recent files.

3 NEW PROJECT (1) Before starting using any tool you need to define a new project and a new working directory.

5 DESIGN PAINTER

6 Example Application (1)
Halved Entities represent incomplete ones. To fully define an entity you need to specify all required parameters. When this is done, the entity icon becomes complete. The red ‘M’ on the Entity stands for “Menu” and indicates that a menu option called “Items” must be created when prototypes are generated. The blu ‘P’ on the Entity stands for “Prototype” and indicates that a prototype for “Items” must be generated.

7 Example Application (2)
