Look at p 217 of your text Can you identify the stages or turning pints that affected the civilians? Initial support and enthusiasm coincided with German success and victory Operation Barbarossa and defeats of 1942 made life harder- how and why? Concept of Total war Bombing raids from more physical danger? Late 1944 and early 1945 defeat a possibility? Lower level of support and morale and more opposition?
