1 Warm-Up Jan. 27, 2017 When a star is moving away from our planet, it appears to be RED. When it is moving towards our planet, it appears to be BLUE. WHY??? (Think in terms of the Doppler Effect)

2 The WAVES Bowl

3 GRUDGEBALL!!!! 1. You will divide yourself into teams. There should be four even teams. 2. Each team will have 10 X’s to begin the game. 3. Each team will be asked a question and have 1 minute to answer. If they get the question correct, they can erase two X’s from other teams or add two X’s their team total. 4. They will get a chance to shoot a free throw and erase 3 more X’s if they make the shot! 5. If a team gets a question incorrect, the next team will have a chance to steal the points (but can’t shoot if you steal points). The team with the most X’s at the end wins!!
