Goal: To understand the expectations in Mrs. Linse’s class. To be able to classify and identify number groups. Test Retakes One test retake will be allowed per quarter with a maximum score of 75%. To be eligible to retake a test, a student must complete the following: Test corrections on the test prior to the next test Retake review ticket with 100% accuracy The retake must occur before the end of the quarter. It is the student’s responsibility to complete the tasks before the scheduled date. The student will earn the grade on the retake, up to a 75%, even if the new score is lower than the original test.

Goal: To understand the expectations in Mrs. Linse’s class. To be able to classify and identify number groups. Hints for Success in this Class Pay attention in class, take notes every day, and use your notes to help you with homework. When absent, it is the responsibility of each student to obtain work missed, including the notes taken that day. Ask for help when you don’t understand. Mrs. Linse is available before school after 7:05 and some days after school Learning lab twice a week Join a study group or find a study partner. Talking out a problem is very helpful in understanding! Check Skyward for your progress. Homework assignments will be labeled according to the section in the book. To find specific problems check the assignment details on Skyward.

Group Problem You have a large poster labeled “Real Numbers” with several boxes labeled with a different type of real number. You have an envelop full of numbers. With your group, sort the numbers in the the groups you think they belong to. Always think about the simplified form before you sort. We’ll check progress in 5 minutes.
