2 Warm up What are all the names you can call someone older or younger than you in Indonesia? That is a lot of names! What do all these names tell us about Indonesian culture? Gender, age, language, ethnicity matters a lot in this culture and it creates structure in the society.

Parsons: Human interaction Coleman: A pattern (pola) of human interactions among people and groups Kornblum: Repeated behavioral pattern that creates relationships among individuals and groups in society. Soekanto: A mutual relationship between social positions and social roles. Syani: Social order

Social structure is social order in a society that is created from status and role which create a specific behavioral regularity. Struktu sosial adalah sebuah tatanan sosial dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang ditimbulkan dari status dan peranan yang menunjuk pada suatu keteraturan perilaku.
