The Elk Grove Unified School District is pleased to provide online student information to parents/guardians and students through Synergy’s ParentVUE and StudentVUE portals.
The ParentVUE portal allows parents/guardians to view their children’s school information. The website is accessible over the Internet, with access secured via a login and password. Parents can only see information about their own children.

2. ParentVUE features
The new Synergy ParentVUE Portal will provide parents with access to:
Grades and assignments
Attendance, immunization compliance, transcripts, graduation status, and more
Messaging options (teachers, school, district)
Updating emergency contacts, physicians, phone numbers and opt-outs
All of your children, all of their schools - through one account
Web Portal and Mobile Apps

3. Pick up your ParentVUE letter with activation key

Your activation key is valid until September 24, 2017
Before you can login to your Synergy ParentVUE account, you will need an activation key. Your activation key is at the bottom of the ParentVUE letter. This slide includes a sample activation key. If you have more than one child enrolled in an EGUSD school, you need only to activate your account once.

4. After completing the activation steps,
go to & select I am a parent>>
Once your account is activated, you can head to and click on “I am a parent” to start exploring ParentVUE

5. You are now set to explore ParentVUE
From your opening screen, you will see all of your children listed under the Recent Events section. You will also see the Navigation menu, which shows you at a glance all the information you can access. When you click on a child’s name from the name tab, any item you select from the Navigation menu will be for that child.
