create an ASN.
ASN creation at or within 1 hour of shipment is
Mandatory
Step 1: Go to Collaborative Order Management in
the Tree menu on the left.
Step 2: Click the plus sign to display the sub menu
options.
• Select Shipment

Step 3: Click the plus sign to display the options, select Create Shipment.

Make sure to be selecting Discrete order instead of Blanket Release on your right top corner (in yellow)

Step 4:
Filter your search criteria in Schedule State
selecting ONLY Accepted Orders.
After that, hit the Search button on the lower right corner.

Step 5: Click the checkbox of the Order you want to create the ASN. ASN number must be compliant with Invoice number

Step 6: Edit the default ASN # with Invoice Number or Packing Slip #. Mandatory Field*
Step 7: Enter the Shipment Mode : LT, LTL, etc. If available.
Step 8: Shipment Date is the day the shipment is created and sent. Only create shipments the same day the parts are being sent. If you are creating a shipment for future use you may do it and save it instead of creating the shipment. Mandatory Field*
Step 9: Enter Shipment Tracking Number if available.

Step 14: Supply quantity of parts shipped. In case of liquids, metals, gases, or other goods sold by weight, please enter the net weight in pounds in shipped quantity space, and the total weight of the shipment (including containers, etc.) in weight space. Mandatory Field*
Step 15: Enter the estimated weight including pallets and containers, not mandatory.

You will receive a confirmation that the shipment has been created
Step 17: Click on the hyperlink, the shipment details page will be displayed.
Step 18: Hit Print button, this will create the ASN page that has to be with the documents sent in the shipment.
In case you need to cancel or update the ASN you can do it in this stage. 17 18

By clicking under Save, ASN is not created but saved as a Draft, you can return to complete later.
You can always go back to that ASN draft by selecting Collaborative Order Management > Shipment > Draft Search:

In order to search for a certain ASN, click on Collaborative Order Management > Shipment > Search:
Commonly used search criteria includes Shipment Number (ASN number), Order Number (PO number) or Part Number among others:
Click on Search button.

The search results list has the option whether to download this report as an Excel spreadsheet on the right top corner Download button.
Or to click on the blue ASN number in order to re-print the ASN or cancel it.

When cancelling the document select the line(s) that will need to be removed under the ASN, the whole shipping document can be canceled as well by clicking on the checkmark on the left side of the line item:
*Lines that are canceled will go back to being available in order to create another ASN with them.
*Note that the same ASN number can’t be used. Please reach your buyer to review alternatives on the proper ASN number that should be used in those cases.
