Proprietary and Confidential Business Process Buyers collaborate with their suppliers to share requirements, along with lead times and other details. 1.Planning Schedule: Buyer publishes requirements and makes commitments for a set of items being procured from the supplier for a specified delivery plant/storage location. 2.Supplier Response: Suppliers may be asked to respond to requirements that they cannot meet (process varies per Buyer). Proprietary and Confidential Planning Schedule - Response In many cases, Suppliers do not need to respond to buyer’s requirements if they agree with what is published. >However, lack of supplier’s response is assumed to be an acknowledgement as well as a commitment to the published requirements. >NOTE: Some buyers expect a sent response, even if there are no changes made. Suppliers are usually expected to respond when they cannot provide a commit that matches the buyer’s requirements. >Depending on what the Buyer allows for changes, a Supplier can: –Change the date for a specified quantity or –Under/over commit a quantity for a date or –Spread capacity commits over multiple time buckets »In this case, the supplier will need to specify the new commitment date/quantity pairs. Suppliers will be required to specify a “Reason” for not being able to match the date/quantity requirements.

Proprietary and Confidential Planning Schedule - Response This is the list of reason codes that are available for selection by suppliers. Suppliers can provide an optional note associated with the change. Selecting “Other – Please Specify” makes the Note field mandatory. Once the supplier has reviewed and responded to the items, the supplier must change the Status to “Send” for all schedule items on the planning schedule. Proprietary and Confidential MCV Page – Data Measures & Time Buckets 1.Time Buckets – each column on the right side represents a day, week or month Daily (green) Weekly (blue) Monthly (pink) 2.Data Measures – each row in the supply path item is defined by a data measure 3.Point-In-Time (PIT) – where a column and row meet in the time bucket area is a date and quantity pair that is defined by the data measure for that row Example: There is a demand for (6) items in the month of December 2006. 2 1 3 6

Proprietary and Confidential MCV Page – Filter Criteria 1.Data on the MCV page can be changed to the time between a specified Start Date and End Date 2.The Calendar can be changed to a different time format (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly).  The default calendar is a combination of daily, weekly and monthly for 2 years Note: Multiple requests within an aggregate calendar bucket, will be shown as a single total value for that time bucket (i.e. three orders within a month). The user can click on a data measure link (i.e. Demand) to see the breakdown of details. 2 1 3

Proprietary and Confidential Sending Multiple Planning Schedule Responses Use search or filter for a list of collaborations (on the Collaboration Selector page). The items must be in a Processing state to send multiple PS responses at the same time. Follow these steps to send multiple items: 1.Click the checkboxes to select the schedules you want to send. 2.To set all displayed Planning Schedules to be sent, choose Sent from the Planning Schedule Status drop-down menu at the top of the page. 3.Click the Save button to send the collaborations. 1 3 2
