Write 5 unique things about yourself Use 4 different colors of colored pencils Teacher should model with students and tell 5 things about themselves. Students do not need to share this with other students. Encourage students to add glue pictures and draw pictures here as well to express who they are. You learn quite a bit about your students doing this with each notebook.

Examples: Brainstorming Concept Maps Quick writes Graphic organizers Data and graphs you create Homework Classwork activities Anything you create Can print 2 slides to a page if you prefer that students have a copy to glue in their notebooks versus writing information. 8 Numbering Pages Starting on the first page where you wrote 5 things about yourself, number each side of a page in pencil. Pages will never be torn out – be careful. If you do not have enough time to finish numbering, please finish for tomorrow. You should have about 140 pages numbered. I have found that some of the notebooks do not always have exactly 70 pages.
