2 1. The Call to Adventure the point in a person’s life when something important happens that sends the person in a new direction

3 2. Refusal of the Call Sometimes when a person receives a call to adventure, he or she refuses to go. The future hero might be afraid, or feel like he or she can’t leave responsibilities, or might not feel strong enough or smart enough to start an adventure.

4 3. Supernatural Aid A guide or magical helper who appears to provide assistance Does not have to be human Your personal goddess to aid you!!!

5 4. Crossing of the first Threshold
Point where the hero begins his or her adventure and leaves his normal life and goes into dangerous unknown territories

6 5. Belly of the Whale Hero is torn between worlds

7 6. Road of Trials A series of tests, tasks, or ordeals that a person must undergo as part of becoming a hero

8 7. Meeting with the Goddess
Hero may experience a great love

9 8. Atonement Center of the journey
Hero must face whatever holds the ultimate power in his or her life

10 9. Ultimate Boom Achievement of the goal of the quest
What the hero went on the journey to get

11 10. Apotheosis hero may experience oneness and beauty of the universe
A period of rest and reflection before the journey home is made

12 11. Rescue from Without Hero needs a magical guide or help to help him with everyday life

13 12. Master of Two Worlds Hero has learned how to be comfortable with everyday life and the world of adventure Hero is ready to be a guide and impart wisdom on someone else
