6 Senate Resolution WHEREAS the Library has lost 50% of its purchasing power over the last two decades under flat and reduced budget appropriations and WHEREAS continued flat allocations will lead to further cuts in materials acquisitions, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Library Committee and the Faculty Senate support the Library’s request to receive the necessary inflationary funds, and new funds, to maintain and ideally increase expenditures for library acquisitions.
