2 Getting started Hearing aid processor Ensure the students hearing aids are working. You may need to replace the hearing aid battery. Attach the receivers to the hearing aid input shoe. It will ‘click’ securely in to place. Audio input shoe Receiver

3 Switching on your device
Power button Using the teacher worn transmitter hold down the power button on the side of the device until the screen comes on. The screen will automatically default to the ‘network’ setting. Do not make any adjustments. Default ‘network’ setting Mute button

4 Connecting to the receivers
Now connect the transmitter to the receivers. Hold the transmitter approximately 10cms from the receivers. Press the connect button. The screen will display: A Roger X is connected Repeat this with the receiver on the other ear. Both receivers are now connected.

5 Positioning the transmitter
The transmitter should be worn around the neck of the speaker. The transmitter should ideally be one hand span distance from the speakers mouth. Approx. 15cms.

6 Using the mute button To mute the microphone, press the microphone display button at the bottom of the transmitter. When the mute button is activated the light will flash red. Remember to press the mute button again to reactivate the microphone. The light will go off. Mute button

7 Switching off your device
To ensure the receivers do not remain connected to the transmitter, at times when not needed, it is important that it is muted or switched off. To switch off hold the button on the side of the transmitter until the power off screen is displayed. Press the yes icon and it will switch off. The transmitter can now be charged.
