5 What We Expect From Students and Parents
Attendance: Students must attend classes regularly with little to no room for excused absences. In order to access the curriculum and pass their examinations and course work, students must be present. Abiding by School Rules and Procedures: By Year 10 students should demonstrate maturity and consideration in all areas of school life, including behaviour. This extends to appropriate uniforms, arriving to school on time and with the necessary materials for lessons. Work Ethic and Commitment: We expect Year 10 students to put forth a great deal of effort into their course work and examination preparations. Be assured, if students do not work to their greatest potential, they cannot pass their IGCSEs. Communication with Parents: We hope that parents will support teachers to push their children dedicate themselves to their studies. Next year, parents will be contacted via to ensure regular communication regarding progress and concerns.

Take your child for an assessment and present the report in September This way, teachers can prepare support from the beginning of the school year. Depending on the diagnosis, we will offer students extra time, breaks and a reader during examinations.
