2. New Project – Opportunity Search
New Project will open the Opportunity Link Type window. You will be required to either:
Link to an existing opportunity - Opportunity Search
Create new opportunity - Automatically create opportunity for Salesforce.com when Rev 0 is completed
Do not create new opportunity - Used when creating a test quote for training

3. New Project – Opportunity Search
If you check Link to an existing Opportunity
Click on the Opportunity Search button – the Opportunity Search window will open
If an opportunity is found, select it from the search before continuing.
Since this is a new program you may not see any opportunities at first. This will change moving forward.
When you continue, the Opportunity will auto-populate the Project Info

4. New Project
Once you Fill in Quote Based On, the New Project window opens
Create the project, quote 1, revision 0 as usual

5. New Quote
The same options for the opportunity search and linking are on the New Quote window

6. Changing Opportunity Links
If you need to
Change the opportunity linked to a quote
Create an opportunity from a quote previously marked to not create one
Go to the Project Info page for the Opportunity toolbar

7. Delete Link To Delete the link
Click on the "Clear Opportunity Association" button
A window will popup to confirm the request
Click on the Save button on the Project Info window to save your changes

8. Change Link
If you need to re-link the Quote to a different Opportunity after deleting the previous association
Click on the "Search Opportunity" button
The Opportunity Search window will open
Select the opportunity from the search
An Opportunity ID will appear, click on the Save button on the Project Info window

9. Project Specific Exception Notes
There is a new field on the notes page
It shows the exception notes added by Integrated System
They can be copied and pasted into Project Specific Exceptions to print on quote
This is a short-term solution until the Integrated Systems exception notes and the Rep exception notes are merged.
