Storm motion and echo top information is not available at the position even thought it was proto typed on STARS in The ability to see weather the weather is now and will be in 10 and 20 minutes helps controllers keep aircraft moving and better provide non equipped aircraft help in making decisions about how to get around weather or land and wait it out.
