PMUY Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY)
To provide clean cooking fuel to poor households in the country, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna (PMUY) PMUY was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister on May 1st, 2016. Initial target of providing 5 crore LPG connections in 3 years with budgetary allocation of 8000 Cr EXTENDED PMUY Target revised from 5 crore to 8 crore LPG connections by 2020 with additional budgetary allocation of 4800 Cr Beneficiaries also to include poor households falling under 7 categories.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Beneficiary established through the published list of Socio Economic Caste Census (SECC) data as given by MoRD to MoP&NG Beneficiaries of poor households falling under following categories: SC/ST households Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna(Gramin) Beneficiaries of Antyodaya Anna Yojna(AAY) Forest Dwellers Most Backward Classes(MBC) Tea and Ex-Tea Garden Tribes People residing in islands/river islands

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED Along with duly filled KYC / application form with photograph, beneficiary woman will submit details like address, bank account, Aadhar number of self and family members (except in the State of Assam & Meghalaya), Ration card (Expanded Ujjwala scheme). For SC/ST and MBC category, caste certificate of any family member as mentioned in ration card. (self-declaration is sufficient for caste certificate only in North Eastern states) For beneficiaries other than SECC 2011 list, duly filled 14 point declaration for identifying poor HH as per supplementary KYC. For Beneficiaries of Antyodaya Anna Yojna(AAY) – AAY ration card. For Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna (Gramin) – PMAY certificate.

COST AND CASH ASSISTANCE
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) COST AND CASH ASSISTANCE Cash assistance of Rs. 1150/- (for 5kg connection) Rs 1600/- (for 14.2 kg connection) and per connection will be provided by the Government, which shall comprise of following: Security deposit of one cylinder (Rs.800/- for 5 Kg and Rs 1250/- for 14.2 Kg) Security deposit of pressure regulator (Rs.150/-) Suraksha Hose (1.2 M) – (Rs.100/-) Installation /demonstration charges payable to distributor (Rs.75/-) Cost of issue of DGCC booklet (Rs.25/-)

COST AND CASH ASSISTANCE
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) COST AND CASH ASSISTANCE Option to avail loan for the cost of Hot Plate (990/-) and/or first LPG refill. Loan will be recovered from the subsidy amount payable for each refill. Loan recovery will be start from 7th refill. Any stamp duty if applicable will be borne by the beneficiary. No other facilitation charges are applicable.

16850 villages covered for PMUY saturation.
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) GRAM SWARAJ ABHIYAN - 1 16850 villages covered for PMUY saturation. Each village attached with one distributor. Total no of 7,77,738 connection released vis-à-vis a target of 10,29,635. 11,675 villages declared saturated Ujjwala Diwas celebrated on as a part of GSA. 10.93 Lakh connections released across the country. 15909 LPG panchayats organised

2,34,68,135 House Holds in these villages will be contacted.
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) GRAM SWARAJ ABHIYAN – 2 (1st Jun – 15th Aug) 45167 villages in 115 districts to be saturated for PMUY by 15th August. 2,34,68,135 House Holds in these villages will be contacted. Village wise mapping of distributors commenced and likely to be completed by 1st June. Door to door survey for existing LPG connection started and likely to be completed by 7th June.. Enrollment and distribution camps will be organized. LPG panchayats for customer education will be conducted.
