19 Mason Training 3 Rs. 15 Lakhs has been released to 21 States for conducting pilot training of masons. The pilot training of masons had been conducted in the States of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. The remaining states to conduct pilot training . All states to scale up training for the entire state based on experiences in the pilot. States may submit proposal for gap funding for organizing training with sufficient justification. Identification – Mapping of revenue villages to SECC village, beneficiaries to villages, deletion of ineligibe households, addition of eligible households left out of list, wrong capturing of category in SECC, Addressing of grievances through Appellate Mechanism. Land to landless PFMS – Bank account verification, tracking of FTOs, Pending transfer of assistance, False success / reject cases. Mason Training – Identification of Training Provider, Conduct of pilot training, scaling of training, linking of trained masons to the beneficiaries.

24 Challenges and policy issues
Quality – Ensuring quality in construction of house, availability of material at reasonable rates, use of locally available materials Awareness to beneficiaries – about the scheme, eligibility, house designs, quality construction material, loan to willing beneficiaries.
