3 What is an Elevator Pitch?
A clear, brief message or “commercial” about your product/findings. It communicates who you are, what you’ve discovered or created, and how your product/findings can benefit someone else. For our purposes, we will use the elevator pitch to promote our GH project. Be sure to clarify that we will modify the typical business or career elevator pitch to meet our needs - to promote our project.

6 Key Details Included in Your Pitch
Write one powerful sentence for each idea. ABOUT YOU Smile to your counterpart, and open with a statement or question that grabs attention: a hook that prompts your listener to ask questions. Tell who you are and describe your project name/topic you will learned about. Show enthusiasm.

Write one powerful sentence for each idea. WHAT WILL YOUR PROJECT OFFER? Explain why you chose this project idea or why it is important to you. Offer a vivid example. What steps will you take in order to complete your project.

Write one powerful sentence for each idea. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS Tell what very special service, product, idea, or solutions that your project can offer. What are the advantages of ___? In what ways are you different from others similar to you/your project?

Write one powerful sentence for each idea. HOW WILL YOU DO IT Give a concrete example or tell a short story, show the uniqueness in your design/your discovery of knowledge.

Write one powerful sentence for each idea. CALL FOR ACTION What is the most wanted response after your elevator speech? If you’re sharing knowledge, what should your audience walk away wanting to do? If you’re showing a prototype/model, why should your audience want to have your product in the long run?
