1. Unit 5 Trigonometry Day 8 Lab for Graphing Sine and Cosine

2. Arrival Have New Printed Notes out on your desk
Update the next few days on your Cover Sheet
While you do this, I’ll assign groups of 3 (or 4) for today’s lab
I recommend groups of 3, if at all possible….maybe just 1 or 2 groups of 4 (due to # in class). With too big of a group, some may be sitting around doing nothing.

3. Graphing Sine - Activity
Make sure your group has the following:
Lab Sheet (in New Printed Notes)
Big Sheet of Paper
Masking Tape (4-6 pieces)
Meter Stick
Spaghetti (5-6 Pieces)
Protractor
Twine
2 or 3 Pencils
Compass
Markers or Crayons (2)
Double check that your group has ALL the supplies listed!

4. Activity Rules Keep voices low – remember we will be in the hallway!!
Please stay focused on the activity and not have side conversations.
The handout will be completed for a grade.
Everyone in the group must participate.
Reading the directions and following along will be very, very important.
