2 The Leopard’s appearance
The leopard has black spots. Golden fur Some leopards are called panthers. All leopards have four teeth that look like fangs.

3 Leopard’s behavior Leopards do not like water but will get into water if they have to. Leopards travel alone except for with cubs. Leopards are active all the time sometimes more at night.

4 The Leopard’s habitat All leopards are adaptable.
They live in China, Russia, Kenya and other places They also live in forests, swampy areas and grasslands. Red=Where Most Leopards Live

5 A Leopard’s cubs There are usually two to three cubs born to one mother. They are born in well hidden places. They are born blind. The male leopard doesn’t help the mother take care of the cubs.

6 Leopard cubs #2 Cubs are three months old when they follow their mom on her hunts. A few weeks after they are three months old they kill on their own. They stay with their mom for up to two years

7 Predator and prey They are Predators. They stalk their prey.
Lions, Tigers, and wild dogs can kill a leopard.
