1 Bad News and Good News BAD NEWS: If you don’t have a 3-digit ID, you are not getting any credit for your Iclicker exercises. GOOD NEWS: You can recover all past credit by getting your 3- digit ID and properly registering your Iclicker. GOOD NEWS: This is the last time I will give these instructions. If you need help with this, see me.

2 How to get your 3-digit ID
You need to do both of these if you do not have a 3-digit ID, even if you have previously registered your Iclicker at the Iclicker.com website. First, go to and register with your name, banner ID, address and clicker serial number. You will be given a 3-digit ID, write it down, remember it! NOTE: if you have already done this part but forgot your 3-digit ID, you can retrieve it using this website by filling in the bottom part. Second, go to and register your Iclicker again. For student ID, use your 3-digit ID.

3 How to change your Student ID in SmartWork from whatever you put in before (Banner ID, none,..) to your new 3-digit ID. Log into SmartWork. Click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the SmartWork window Click the "Edit Profile" tab On the Edit Profile page, click the "Show Advanced" button. Scroll down a bit and find the "Student ID" field and add your three digit ID (if you never entered anything in this field), or change your ID (if you used your Banner ID or something other than your three digit ID). Click the "Update Profile" page.
