(9/11 Nov 2005) 67 participants from 20 countries Participants from outside EU: Bosnia Herzegovina - Norway Most of them belonging to the target group of trainers and quality managers – a few starters Combination of Information – Exercises – Case studies Very positive and constructive atmosphere Interactive part most appreciated but more time needed for introducing and executing the exercises

5 II. The CAF Training Event (9/11 Nov 2005)
Evaluation shows high degree of appreciation: 50 replies 100% gained new insights for their organisation 49 out of 50 would recommend this seminar to other colleagues Encouraging feed back for repetition: probably 2 times organised in 2006

Objective: Realisation of the revised version of the CAF by the end of the Austrian presidency Approach: Tallinn 22-23/09/05: 27 participants from 18 countries Agreement on the working method and the tasks The structure of the model and the links between the criteria and sub criteria: Denmark/Italy The scoring system: presentation of proposals Validation: introduction Seville 15/12/05: Finalising the structure Adapting the scoring system: proposal Spain/Slovakia/Belgium Adapting the examples: proposal Austria/Slovakia Validation: presentation of proposals: HU/ES/EFQM

8 IV. Publication on CAF Good Practices during the Austrian Presidency: CAF Works
State of affairs 22/11/05: 60 organisations were proposed by 17 countries 26 introduced their good practice description Reminders Near Future Continue the search for more candidate organisations Objective is to have at least the description of 60 cases among which 30 to 40 can be selected end January 2006

11 The CAF website and database: next step
CAF e Community - members area: where all the registered persons can share knowledge and good practices using online forums, synchronous chat, document repositories and a calendar Improved presentation of links, articles, activities (databased system) cf Dorthe: the purpose is to have a community of people with a common motivation: improving the organisation through CAF or related SA tools EIPA wants to support this via an e-community of users who can share information, discussion topics, calendar of events, announcements A tool is being developed internally (an e-learning tool which has to be translated to the specific needs of the CAF community) and a test version should be available before the end of the year. People are already invited to ask for login & password This will replace part of the current website: a databased system of information on links, contact persons, events, training seminars
