From 1975 to 2010 the increase in tourists was from 0.1 million(1975) to 2.9 million tourists (2010), the increase was approximately 2.8 million tourist.
And if you look closely from to 2000 the difference between the number of tourists was immense, after only 5 years passed the number of tourists increased 0.7 million

THE TOWN OF ISLA MUJERES IS FULL OF TYPICAL RESTURANTS AND LOCAL STORES. TASTE A VARIETY OF FOODS AND CULTURAL CUISINE. IT IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO HAVE A SENSE OF AN MEXICAN TOWN. IT IS AN SIMPLE BUT CHARMIG PPLACE TO GO TO HAVE BOTH DINNER AND LUNCH. 
THE ANCIENT CITY OF TULUM IS AN WELL KNOWN ATTRACTION AS IT IS NOT SOMETHING USUAL. THE ANCIENT CITY HAS VIEW TO THE BEAUTIFUL OCEAN. The ruins are situated on 12-meter, tall cliffs along the COAST. Tulum was a major trading and religious center between the 11th and 16th centuries. IT IS AN VERY DIFFERENT ACTIVITY COMPARED TO THE OTHER ONES IN CANCUN.

For Cancun tourism benefit Mexico, its sustainability will have to have some sort of commitment.
If the growing of tourist continues to grow as it is there will be a climate and environmental change 
Economy, society and environment will all have to come together to create sustainability.
As Cancun continued to develop it became a destinations for Mexico which are migrating due to the promising of jobs
This beautiful place has immense wealth inequality upon the hosts and the tourists
Many sand dunes, untouched beaches, jungles were destroyed to create hotels, and residential areas.
Cancun`s infrastructure, health and education is still unstable, but by the increasing amount of tourists these negative factors are about to change, due to the government is receiving a huge amount of taxes and he is trying to improve the its economy.
In Cancun everything is cheap, to get from one place to another is really easy and affordable, because taxi`s are really low- priced 
Also Cancun is a city with a multicultural population and the English language is commonly used by a large number of its residents and visitors.
